Making the grass greener

by Sheridan Eccleston

At farmout, we are committed to a vision where the grass is green for everyone. This year, farmout has actioned this vision by utilising the GIVIT service. GIVIT is a unique web-based philanthropic community where people can donate quality items to people in need. Through GIVIT, we have donated items to mental health, homelessness and domestic violence related support services.

farmout has contributed to global issues through the World Vision child sponsorship program. Simon Mhosna (right), farmout's world vision child since 2007, is growing into a healthy, strong and happy young man. He continues to receive birthday presents, Christmas presents and regular letters from us, alongside financial donations that ensure his wellbeing and the prosperity of his community.

Battle brews between Patty Cake and Coffee Beans

by Sheridan Eccleston

An interesting new rivalry is brewing at Shingle Inn cafes across Australia. Patty Cake has always been known as the #1 Shingle Inn Product, but will he be able to hold onto the title as a new contender causes a stir on the local scene?

Dressed to impress in a stunning black number (right) by farmout design, Miss Coffee Beans has made a strong impact. Shingle Inn patrons have described Miss Beans as has having a ‘full-bodied flavour’, with one male patron going so far as to say she is ‘the best thing to wake up to in the morning’.

Mr Cake has refuted rumours he’s losing his touch, claiming ‘That’s ridiculous, I don’t even have hands’. Patty Cake is still the favourite to take the 2012 title. Loved by all ages, and suitable for all occasions, Australia is still very much in love with sweet Mr Cake. However, the battle is far from won – Miss Bean’s popularity is growing at an alarming rate.

‘We’re so happy with Miss Beans’ new look,’ says Louise Bellchambers, Shingle Inn’s media contact. ‘She now reflects the sophistication and elegance that we all knew was inside her. I wouldn’t like to pick sides as I’ve been a fan of Patty Cake and Coffee Beans for some time now and their both fresh, alluring and an iconic part of Shingle Inn’s range.’

When asked for closing comments, Miss Beans said that she owes everything to farmout's Senior Designer Stephen Jaensch – ‘My new look has given me a new lease on life – I’m more confident and adventurous. All of my girlfriends keep saying how stylish and beautiful I look. Customers can’t get enough of me.’

Stephen is currently designing a range of summer-wear for products that need a sales boost. To book a fitting, call (07) 3217 3216.
